Ashoka's Youth Venture Open House

"Youth Venture inspires and invests in teams of young people as they start their own sustainable social ventures, connecting them into a powerful global network.

At our VIP Open House Reception on Feb. 27th from 3-6 PM, you can meet some of the young changemakers in our first Bay Area program.

We are currently working with seven Oakland-based youth teams. Their projects address a broad diversity of topics, including spreading anti-violence messages through hip hop, creating viral videos to bring awareness to social justice issues in East Oakland, improving relations between Oakland youth and the Oakland Police Department, and increasing access to fresh produce in West Oakland.
